FREE Shipping Packs Conditions

Important: FREE Shipping Packs INCLUDE shipping cost charged to us by our freight companies and is not free to Salt Lamps Australia. FREE Shipping Packs cannot be sent to PO Boxes as our courier services cannot supply to Australia Post. If you add items from other categories that incur freight charges, you will be charged the extra freight on the additional items, not items from FREE Shipping category.

Additional FREE shipping information: We pay shipping on your behalf and it is incorporated into the cost of the FREE Shipping packs. If however, you return your order or it is returned for non delivery the freight charge incurred by us will be deducted from the amount paid. Return freight is at buyers expense.

Flat Rate Shipping Options - $36.00 for 18kg Dead Weight or 9kg Volumetric Weight.

Please ask if you are in a flat rate shipping region and request a freight revision. Please supply a screenshot of your order (Or type it out manually), your suburb and postcode. Flat rate freight regions are $36.00 per 18kg dead weight or 9kg volumetric weight. To be determined by Salt Lamps Australia. Once you make a request we will confirm your best freight pricing option.

Payment for Flat Rate shipping. Please pay the freight amount quoted by our automated system, then we will refund the over payment if you qualify for flat rate shipping. Two entries will appear on your Card or PayPal statement, the first for the original total amount, the second for the refund portion which is credited 2-3days after shipping.

The use of Australia Post by Salt Lamps Australia.

We use Selected Courier Services for all of our dispatches. Once your order has been shipped we email you to confirm shipment and supply the details of your order for tracking. All dispatches require a signature upon delivery unless specified by you. If you request to leave a parcel without a signature all insurances and claims are null and void as all responsibility passes to you the purchaser. Please provide specific delivery details on the shipment address page. We DO NOT deliver to Post Office Boxes, Mail Bag Services or any other Australia Post Box Services. All Metro, Regional & Country deliveries require a physical address for delivery.

Returns for non acceptance of goods

Please note: If your shipment is returned to us as a result of incorrect address, insufficient information or failure to contact the shipping service for an alternate delivery you will be required to pay a second freight charge or a refund of your order less initial freight cost will be completed. If the freight forwarder charges us for an attempted second delivery and no-one is available to accept the consignment we will pass the costs onto you. For FREE freight options, we still pay freight at our end and the cost is absorbed in the overall cost of purchase. Again if FREE freight parcels are returned the same policy applies as above.

Returns or Exchange of Faulty or Unwanted product

Returns for faulty product will only be accepted if we are notified via email within 3 days of receipt of goods. We will request a photo of the damaged item emailed to us prior to it's return. Returns must be confirmed via email before being returned to us for refund or exchange. Return shipment it as buyers expense. Return of unwanted product will not be accepted. This includes if you are not happy with shape or colouring. We will always endeavor to provide the best product available in the Australian Market. Any products returned must be in the original condition for resale. If item is damaged upon its return a refund or exchange is void.

Damaged Items In Transit - Insurance Waiver

We have insurance coverage with certain freight forwarders only. Insurance cover is not guaranteed with all of our consignments. If a damage claim is to be made, then all information must be supplied to Salt Lamps Australia within 5 working days to ensure we can make a claim on the freight forwarder within their standard 7 day time frame. A partial refund will only be granted if the freight forwarder agrees to the partial refund. Any refunds do not include freight as stipulated by all freight forwarders and is standard practice in Australia.

Pick up

You are also free to pick up from our home office located in Mulgrave, South Eastern Melbourne. Please call us on or 0469 061 756 to book a time and obtain the address. Pick up is cash payment only and by appointment. If you accidentally pay through our website, we will refund your payment when you pay cash at pick up.
